Your Interview Game Plan
Your interview game plan is a study plan that turns this course into weekly work. It pairs pattern practice with mock rounds and review, week after week.
A four-week shape
Each week pairs one topic family with practice. The code prints the four weeks in order.
print("Week 1: Arrays and interview format")
print("Week 2: Linked lists and trees")
print("Week 3: Dynamic programming and system design")
print("Week 4: Mocks, behavioral answers, and offers")A daily checklist
A short daily routine beats a long irregular session. The code prints three daily items.
print("Daily: Study one pattern")
print("Daily: Solve one practice problem")
print("Daily: Review one past mistake")Review each mock
A mock only helps when its mistakes are reviewed. The code prints the three review steps.
print("Mock: Solve under time")
print("Mock: Note every mistake")
print("Mock: Redo each missed problem")Example
weeks = [5, 5, 5, 5]
for i, count in enumerate(weeks, 1):
print("Week " + str(i) + " problems:", count)
print("Total problems:", sum(weeks))Key points
- Review the interview format and scoring first, so practice matches how rounds are judged.
- Study one pattern family each week, starting with arrays and moving through linked lists, trees, and dynamic programming.
- Add a timed mock round each week, and review every mistake from that round.
- Use behavioral answers and project stories in the final week, since rounds test more than code.
- Use system design practice after the coding patterns, following the design framework from earlier lessons.
The plan spreads twenty problems evenly over four weeks. Even pacing leaves room for review each week. A missed week is visible at once, so it can be repaired early.
Note
the plan tracks work done, not promises about results.
